Compensation for this role ranges from 70k - 80k depending on experience. 

Responsibilities

  • Maintains assigned accounts on the general ledger.
  • Assists with month end close tasks as assigned. 
  • Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
    • Cash posting and monthly bank reconciliations
    • Prepaid schedules
    • Fixed assets and related reconciliations
    • Journal entries as assigned
  • Completes assigned monthly workpaper reconciliation post month end close.
  • Reconciles deposits weekly from billing system to bank activity.
  • Assists with gathering necessary account information and documents to perform annual audit & tax filings.
  • Maintains knowledge of acceptable accounting practices and procedures.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
  • Ad-hoc work as needed.

Qualifications

  • Extraordinary attention to detail.
  • Strong working knowledge of NetSuite is a plus.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, Outlook.
  • Strong planning and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to analyze information and processes.
  • Strong communication, organization and interpersonal skills.
  • Preference given to those that have worked in healthcare industry.
  • Commitment to ethical behavior with a willingness to adhere to all company policies and current financial legislation.
  • Knowledge of general financial accounting.
  • Understanding of and the ability to adhere to generally accepted accounting principles.
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, or related field, required.
  • At least one to three years of related experience preferred
