Responsibilities

• Registered Nutritionist to support our telehealth team servicing the tri-state area.

• RD and CDN qualified

• Fully remote

• Performing Nutritional Evaluations for surgical clearance via Telehealth.
• Counseling and educating Pre and Post Op, Gastric Balloons, and non-surgical Medical Managed Weight Loss patients on Nutritional regimen and standards.
• Working in conjunction with a virtual live platform portal
• Flexible
• Writing articles for both lay and professional relevant publications
• Available for follow-up questions via email and telephone
• Working with an interdisciplinary professional team
• Providing a supportive and caring environment for all NYBG patients

Qualifications

• Must be a Registered Dietitian and Certified Dietitian Nutritionist
• Bachelors of Science in Nutrition a must
• Master’s Degree, a plus
• 5 years’ clinical experience
• 3 years’ experience with bariatric patients

• Internship and Registered, in good standing
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Handle all administrative duties in a timely manner
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organization with attention to detail
• Demonstrates ability to meet deadlines
• Ability to work independently and as a team member
• Demonstrates strong computer literacy
• Good attitude, professionalism, and collaborative relationships with coworkers
• Supports management and leadership
